If you’ve ever watched a robot science fiction movie, odds are good you have seen one where the robots try to take over the world. However, if this is your idea of what artificial intelligence is in the real world, maybe it’s time we separate fact from fiction and discuss the reality of AI today. AI and automation are being used for tedious manual and repetitive tasks, saving companies the cost of hiring employees. AI also helps to improve human decision-making (we need a little help in this area) by using algorithms to solve problems.

8 Things I Learned Starting A Cannabis Business As A Filipina Woman

Seven years ago, I migrated to Canada and started my career as a plant scientist developing organic fertilizers. With all the stress and pressure from work, I made the decision to turn to cannabis for health reasons, but coming from a religious and conservative Filipino family, I kept this as a secret out of fear of being judged by them. This made me realized how the stigma around cannabis is affecting everyone, especially women and women of color. I searched the CBD market, and I couldn’t find a product that’s highly formulated with CBD without any synthetic chemicals.
