Make money collecting Barbie dolls

Reading Time: 5 mins

What a doll!

In honour of International Barbie Day on March 9 we are here to round up how to make money collecting Barbie dolls. At 60 years old and untouched by Botox, Barbie’s pulling power remains defiantly undiminished. She is one of the biggest selling toys in history, with over a billion dolls sold across six decades. A Barbie was bought every three seconds in 2014, and her popularity hasn’t waned since.

The bombshell first burst, fully formed, onto the toy scene in 1959 and now, standing at just under 12 inches tall, she heads a business worth over two billion dollars a year. Individual dolls can be worth thousands of pounds – some even into the hundreds of thousands.

This is all well and good, but how can you take advantage of the lucrative market in Barbies? We’ll think about that in this article.

What to look for when collecting barbies

Make money collecting Barbie dolls

Like so many other collectibles, Barbie’s attraction holds true for both children and adults – particularly adults who were not allowed or could not afford a Barbie of their own as children, or who now want to collect Barbies as nostalgia items.

The potential for any Barbie fan to create a unique and personal collection is endless. The question is, where to start?

Firstly, make sure you realise the three “eras” of Barbie dolls: The Vintage Era (1959 – 72), The Modern Era (after 72), and The Collectible Era, which was started by Mattel in 1986.

Of course, there’s far more to look out for than that – here’s what you should be aware of if you’re looking to make money from the Barbie universe.

Look for dolls that are different

A variation in eye colour or hair style can make them more valuable.

Try to keep your dolls and outfits boxed

In other words, do not play (or let your children play) with them!

Although unboxed dolls are still saleable (one was auctioned in London saleroom for £2,500), boxed examples always fetch more. For this reason many serious collectors buy two of each doll, one to leave in the box and one to play with.

There are three main types of barbie collector

Vintage, Pink Box and Collectible. And because there is such an enormous range of Barbie products to choose between, collectors tend to specialise in one small area.

Vintage means manufactured before 1972

Check the country of manufacture to give you an idea of a doll’s age. Pre-1973 Barbies were made in Japan, USA, Mexico and Taiwan

Pink Box Barbies

These are toys specially made for children and are widely available, although they are not as valuable as the older ones

Collector editions

Since the 80s, Mattel has released a series of Barbie Collector Edition dolls each year. They range from dolls dressed by top designers, to TV editions (Barbie and Ken as The X Files’ Mulder and Scully, for example). Designed for display rather than play, some of these will gain in value over the years.

The question is, which Barbies will gain value?

The trick for collectors is to predict the ones that will become collectible in the future. This is a hard thing to do without a crystal ball, but, as a rule of thumb, go for the models that are most prized by today’s little girls. They are the ones who will pay over the odds in 20 or 30 years’ time for the dolls they couldn’t get their hands on as children.

If in flawless condition, Vintage Barbies (which often have bendy legs and red hair) fetch astonishing prices, particularly in the States. First rolling off the production line in 1959 and being produced until the late 1960s and selling for $3 (£1.50), a Barbie from this period could sell for £25,000. Even on internet auction sites, many models and even accessories (as long as they’re in very good condition) are changing hands for upwards of £1,000. An original black and white swim-suited 1959 boxed Barbie in mint condition can now fetch around £8,000.

  • Look for holes in the feet to see if it is one of the earliest models.
  • Complete sets of outfits and accessories are collectible too. You can spend around £45 on a pair of tiny vintage Barbie sunspecs. And one website rather chillingly offers Barbie “body parts,” although keep in mind that restoration may get the doll to look better, it will likely ruin its value to a collector.
  • Barbie Collectibles cost between £50 and over £100.Whatever you decide to stick with – 70s Barbies, Barbie footwear or ethnic Barbies – the important thing is to enjoy the dolls. Otherwise there’s no point.

Where to look for barbie dolls

Make money collecting Barbie dolls

There are plenty of specialist magazines and websites around where you can see what is available and compare prices. If you are lucky there may even be a collectors’ club nearby where you can pick up valuable tips.

The big market for Vintage Barbies, clothes and accessories is the USA, with dozens of dedicated websites. Certainly, if you have a Barbie or two you suspect is valuable, you are most likely to get the best price over there.

When it comes to picking up bargains, though, the dedicated collector may still track some down at auctions and car boot sales. Even the odd charity shop may sell Barbies, but in this case they are unlikely to be highly valuable.

Places like Christie’s, South Kensington, will also value Barbie items from photographs if you discover a collection in the attic. Christie’s only sells lots of £250 and above, but that can mean you get better value than you would if you bought the items individually online.

Don’t forget to do a search on eBay for old collectibles and check out the latest bargains at Amazon – you could start a collection of today’s Barbies to hand down to your children’s children.

5 Essential Things to Consider When Deciding to Become a Best-Selling Co-Author

Home Business Magazine Online

Your words, forever immortalized on the pages of a best-selling book in the hands and hearts of millions all over the world; could this be the unique edge to not only your healing but to your businesses’ growth in 2023?

Co-authoring a best-selling book is a noteworthy achievement by any standard. From a business perspective, it is one that has been shown to dramatically increase brand credibility and sales-funnel conversions. A recent study led by ‘Grammar Factory’ showed that entrepreneurs increased their earnings by 34% after having their work published.

A conscious best-selling book strategy, coupled with the means to create a wildly connected community, has been shown to yield amplified results in not only your impact, influence and income, but in who you become in the process!

Let’s explore what you need to consider on your path to Best-Selling Co-Author:

1. Get ready to collaborate and build a leveraged network:

Jess Verrill

“A ‘collaborative book project’, as I like to call it, is where multiple people will come together to write their own chapter, giving their own perspective and expertise on a particular theme. We all come together to share our wisdom, our genius and tips and tools for others to read. I’ve seen many incredible things come from this experience: soul friendships, collaborative business partnerships, referral partners, tons of new clients, speaking opportunities — the practical ROI is immeasurable!” Jess Verrill

Relationships are the currency of doing business tomorrow. It is not enough to just leave your ego at the door; you need to be willing to lay down any success paradigms that have you showing up with fear, scarcity or competition. Here, leveraged communities are built on integrity. They rise together by becoming powerful referral partners, celebrate and encourage one another and ultimately, co-authors become great friends!

2. You’ve gotta want it!

Terrie Silverman

“To have a tangible product and be able to hold it in your hands, to tell clients, colleagues and friends, and then to see my story in A BOOK and being part of the success in birthing a best-seller, is thrilling! I left my first co-author project with profound pride and a deep sense of accomplishment.” Terrie Silverman

The fuel, resourcing you during the initial stages of conception, to the drafting, editing, proofing and then publishing, requires presence, perseverance and an aligned community of Authors.

Your book will evolve you. The writing journey will help you heal, bring you alive and transform you. Therefore, you’ve ‘gotta want it’ from all the right places.

3. Prepare to face your visibility shadows:

Tarsh Ashwin

“The biggest thing about a book is that it generates incredible visibility and momentum. Learning how to work with momentum is one of the key teachings available within a co-author project. As you dive deep into your visibility fears, powerful levels of inner alchemy and authority is embodied, and this then shines from the inside out to attract people faster to your work.” Tarsh Ashwin

You have to be willing to do the powerful inner excavation work that must accompany your journey to becoming more visible and for many, this is where the challenge to triumph lives.

By bringing your ‘visibility wounds’ and fears into the light, meeting them head on, and healing them somatically while you write your heart out, you will gain a sense of preparedness and strength. As the sales roll in, invitations for podcast appearances, article features and greater exposure manifests, you will not feel exposed.

4. Be willing to learn conscious marketing strategies to build a business bigger than you:

Krystal Hille

“We are able to offer real value to real people in a long-lasting way that social media and blog posts could never do. Conscious marketing demands us to show up authentically as who we are, and a compilation book (where you just write one chapter instead of a whole book) provides us with a perfect opportunity to do exactly this, while leveraging time. It effectively contributes to the eight points of contact that a potential or client needs to have with us before they buy from us; it is a huge trust builder, while also becoming a legacy builder for you.” Krystal Hille

Building a business that is bigger than you takes heart and demands a wild ride into defining the values of your company, the mission it serves and distilling a story that people can not only relate to, but deeply trust.

By investing in a co-author book project, you will begin to unravel all of these elements. As you do, you will see your voice, your work and the bigger ripple that is possible by consciously choosing to pour your wisdom onto the page authentically and powerfully.

5. Your words will be the thing that heals you:

Alyse Marie-Gallagher

“What if this is the thing that heals you? Sharing my vulnerability in this way was the thing that healed me. I needed to show up for myself in a bigger way and so I took an entire year of writing multi-author books to be the channel, to be the thing that healed me. And it did, because I am the potential; because you are the potential.” Alyse Marie-Gallagher

Daring to share your story, to cultivate the courage to put pen to paper and let it be heard, with every word you write, a little more of you heals. Are you ready for that?

It’s a big decision to become a published Author, your story forever immortalized on the pages of a hardback book. It will, however, be one of the best decisions you ever make for your own evolution — and with every word read, medicine for another. Take a deep breath and dare greatly.

In Closing

Co-Author Book Projects offer potent leveraging opportunities across a myriad of channels, from media, to summits and podcasts. If relationships are the currency by which we will do business tomorrow, then how we sow these today matters.

Becoming a co-author is a journey that will evolve you as a woman, as a Leader, as a Writer and as a valuable member of a collaborative community, coherently working together to launch, promote and leverage their collective legacy piece.

How to Choose the Right Cash Buyer for Selling Your Home

Home Business Magazine Online

Are you looking to sell your home quickly and easily? Then a cash buyer may be the best option for you.

Selling your home to a cash buyer can provide an easy, hassle-free way to get rid of your property without having to go through the process of putting it on the market. But how do you choose the right cash buyer for selling your home?

Advantages of Selling Your Home for Cash

Selling your house for cash has some distinct advantages that you may want to consider if you’re looking to sell quickly.

The main benefit is the speed at which a sale can be completed, as cash buyers are typically ready to purchase a home in less than 30 days — sometimes in as little as seven days. This makes them ideal for those who need to move quickly and don’t have time for the traditional home-selling process.

Another advantage is that cash buyers will often purchase a property ‘as is’, meaning that they are willing to take on properties with existing damage or structural problems without requesting costly repairs. This can save homeowners significant amounts of money, as well as time spent trying to fix any damage before putting the property up for sale on the market.

Finally, there are no estate agents involved, and all costs associated with selling a home (such as stamp duty and legal fees) can usually be avoided when working with a cash buyer.

Finding the Right Cash Buyer

Now that you know more about the benefits of selling your house for cash, let’s look at how you can find the right buyer. We Buy Any Home are likely to give you quick and professional service here.

When searching for potential buyers it’s important to research their experience and qualifications thoroughly before making any commitments, so be sure to read reviews from previous customers or contact mortgage brokers who can provide further information on prospective buyers before committing to any agreements.

Also, ensure that all contracts are reviewed by an independent solicitor and written in plain language so that both parties understand their rights and responsibilities under the agreement.

Finally, if you’re considering selling your home for cash, be sure to get several quotes from different buyers so that you can compare their offers and select one that works best for you. It also helps to work out what price you want ahead of time — this will allow you to negotiate better terms when discussing options with potential buyers.

Conclusion

By following the advice above — such as researching prospective buyers carefully, obtaining quotes from multiple sources, and ensuring contracts are reviewed by an independent solicitor — homeowners should have no trouble finding a reliable partner with whom they can complete a successful sale transaction in just under 30 days!

Why a Google search revolution never happened

Did Google move too slowly with AI? Is that why Google is now scrambling to put AI into everything? Two new reports paint two entirely different pictures of Google before – and since – the launch of ChatGPT.

The Google search revolution that never happened. Two Google researchers created a chatbot that supposedly would “revolutionize the way people searched the internet and interacted with computers,” more than two years ago, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

But executives were reportedly risk-averse, fearing putting out the AI product could hurt its $200 billion+ search advertising business and its reputation. And sure enough, Google took a significant reputational hit with its rushed Bard debut.

What are Google’s AI principles? One reason for Google’s slow approach could be due to its AI principles. Google believes AI applications should:

  1. Be socially beneficial.
  2. Avoid creating or reinforcing unfair bias.
  3. Be built and tested for safety.
  4. Be accountable to people.
  5. Incorporate privacy design principles.
  6. Uphold high standards of scientific excellence.
  7. Be made available for uses that accord with these principles.

So if Google had this AI technology ready more than two years ago, perhaps Google’s leadership felt it wasn’t as ready as those researchers did.

Lack of sourcing was another internal concern. In addition to safety and accuracy concerns, there was another big concern the WSJ points out:

“Integrating programs like LaMDA, which can synthesize millions of websites into a single paragraph of text, could also exacerbate Google’s long-running feuds with major news outlets and other online publishers by starving websites of traffic. Inside Google, executives have said Google must deploy generative AI in results in a way that doesn’t upset website owners, in part by including source links, according to a person familiar with the matter.”

Yet when Google showed off its new AI capabilities in search, there we no links to sources. And it caused a little bit of outrage.

And along came OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Code Red. Google co-founder Larry Page, a decade ago, warned that “incrementalism leads to irrelevance over time, especially in technology, because change tends to be revolutionary, not evolutionary.”

Love it or hate it, ChatGPT is a revolutionary technology. Shortly after the launch of ChatGPT in late November, Google declared a “code red” and sought help from Page and co-founder Sergey Brin. This was part of an effort to add chatbot features to Google Search this year.

Then, Google rushed to introduce Bard, it’s answer to ChatGPT, on Feb. 6. That was one day before Microsoft had planned to unveil the new Bing with ChatGPT.

Since that announcement, Google has tried to clarify that Bard is not search. The AI-powered chatbot features coming to search are based on similar technology, but Bard is a standalone product.

Google AI = the new Google Plus? Google is now reportedly “stuffing” generative AI into more products, according to Bloomberg:

“Some Google alumni have been reminded of the last time the company implemented an internal mandate to infuse every key product with a new idea: the effort beginning in 2011 to promote the ill-fated social network Google+. It’s not a perfect comparison—Google was never seen as a leader in social networking, while its expertise in AI is undisputed. Still, there’s a similar feeling.”

Google pushed back on this, saying much of Google’s internal efforts involve having Googlers test and improve Bard. One Googler also told Bloomberg:

  • “There is an unhealthy combination of abnormally high expectations and great insecurity about any AI-related initiative.”

Why we care. Is Google panicking or moving too slowly? Both could be true – or the actual truth may be somewhere more in the middle, where Google is really living by its AI principles. Call it a slow rush – as Google can afford to sit back right now and watch and learn from Microsoft and other generative AI players and avoid any (further) costly mistakes.

Professional EV Charger Installations: What to Expect

Home Business Magazine Online

Whether you run a business and want to convert your fleet to all-electric delivery vehicles, for example, or you are a homeowner who’d like to have an EV charger installed on their driveway to charge up your plug-in hybrid overnight, you are going to need the right kit. Not all EV charging installations are future-proof for the next generation of electric vehicles and not all installers think ahead to ensure that the equipment is sited in the best locations. Read on to find out what to expect if you opt for a professional installation and why it pays to turn to experienced EV installers.

Site Surveys and Suitability

To begin with, many commercial sites need to be surveyed by an installer before an installation can be optimised. Otherwise, you might end up with your EV chargers being located in the wrong place where they cause pinch points and access issues. A survey will also help the installation company to assess which sort of EV chargers will be most suited to the site.

In fairness, in many domestic situations, a survey won’t be needed unless there are site-specific access problems. If you have a driveway or a garage on your property, then this stage can often be bypassed. However, your installer should want to see your electrical distribution board before proceeding. A photo is usually enough but if they don’t ask for one, they might not be as professional or experienced as they seem.

Ordering the Right Equipment

No professional EV charger installation should proceed without suitable equipment. As mentioned, you’ll want units that can charge your current all-electric or hybrid but also be compatible with newer models when they come onto the market. EV manufacturers like Easee, Hydra and Sevadis are all quite common and well-established in the UK market today but there are other options worth exploring. Make sure your installer is familiar with all the leading brands. Asking them to supply your charger may be a good move, too, since they can sometimes provide favourable rates.

In addition, make sure that the EV charger you end up ordering offers dynamic loading. This will help if you want to get the best out of the unit when charging. It can be particularly useful if you will be using it to charge more than one electric vehicle or if you need to maximise your charger for the fastest charge-up possible. While 7kW units are often suited to domestic installations, commercial properties may find it is preferable to spend a bit more to obtain a more powerful 22kW charger instead.

EV Charger

Wallbox and Floor-Standing Chargers

Regardless of the installer or manufacturer you choose for your EV charger, there are two main types of units to choose between. Floor-standing chargers can be located in any location because they are self-supporting. These are ideal for car parks and commercial installations where you will charge people to use your charger. Typically, they can be sited in the middle of four parking bays so that they can be accessed from all sides. Look out for additional installation costs associated with protective bumpers and surrounds, however.

If you opt for a wallbox charger, then obviously you will need a wall nearby where the unit can be mounted. Not all wallbox chargers look the same, however. Some can be very utilitarian in their appearance and resemble the sort of thing you would expect to see at a garage forecourt. If you want a unit that will blend in with the architecture of your home, then be prepared to shop around before you have your wallbox fitted for you.

Armoured Cables and Electrical Work

If you already have a power outlet close to where the EV charger will be installed, then there may be no extra work that is needed. If not, then it is possible that your installer will have to run a power cable from your distribution board or fuse box to the EV charger. Given that these units tend to carry higher loads than the average lighting ring, you will have to take into account the extra cost of armoured cable or external trunking if the installation is to be safe and weatherproof. Armoured cables can usually be disguised or even run underground if the sight of them puts you off.

Demonstrations and Warranties

For an EV charger installation to be truly complete, it should be demonstrated to you by the company that fitted it. According to Go Electrix, one of the most experienced installation firms working in Essex and London these days, demonstrating how EV chargers work is important from a safety perspective. Of course, any electrical work that has been conducted at your home or business premises should only be carried out by NICEIC-accredited electricians.

In addition, ask for an impartial inspection of your installation by a qualified electrician who didn’t install it for you. Only truly professional installation companies will offer this service, something that is crucial for complete peace of mind following an installation sign-off. After all, you don’t want to find out several months after you have been using your EV charger that there is a fault that isn’t covered by the manufacturer’s warranty because something was wrong with the initial installation. Note that warranties of 12 months are standard but some manufacturers offer longer guarantee periods.

Grant Funding

Finally, you should expect some government support with your home EV charger installation. Ask your chosen installer about accessing the OZEV grant scheme which means that hundreds of pounds — thousands in the case of commercial installations — can be wiped off your final bill. The government encourages people to have charging equipment installed by paying for part of the costs. However, it can be awkward to fill out the application forms which are a bit technical. Seek an installer who can guide you through the process or, better still, do it for you. This way, you’ll stand a better chance of getting the full award that you are entitled to claim.

Selling Home with Cash – How Will It Benefit You?

Home Business Magazine Online

Selling your home with cash is the best way to sell your house. It will benefit you in many ways such as getting the best price for your house, no need to wait for other buyers, no mortgage payments, no closing costs and no realtor fees.

How will you benefit from selling your home with cash?

If you’re thinking of selling your home, then this article is going to be helpful for you.

  • You will get the best price for your house: When it comes to selling a house with cash, there are many benefits including getting the highest price possible. This means no need to wait for other buyers or worry about mortgage payments, closing costs and realtor fees.
  • Your home will sell quickly: Because there are no middlemen involved (i.e., realtors), the entire process can move much faster than if you were using traditional methods such as listing with an agent or broker.

The benefits of selling cash home

The benefits of selling cash home are many. First, you will get the best price for your house. When you sell with cash, there is no need to wait for other buyers to bid on your property because the buyer will pay you directly without any mortgage payments, closing costs and realtor fees. This means that you can sell your home fast and at a higher price than if it were sold using traditional methods such as listing with a realtor or bank financing through FHA loans.

Get the best price for your house

  • You will get the best price for your house. Cash buyers are more flexible in negotiating the price, which means you can ask for more money than if you were selling to a traditional buyer who needs to get financing for their purchase.
  • Sellers don’t have to wait for financing and can close quickly. Cash buyers don’t have to wait for financing because they already have cash on hand, so sellers won’t experience any delays from slow-moving banks or other lenders that may hold up closing dates due to slow processing times or requirements like credit score checks (which can take weeks).
  • There are no fees associated with selling homes using this method — it’s an all-inclusive package!

No need to wait for other buyers

There is no need to wait for other buyers. You can sell your house without waiting for other buyers, who may or may not be interested in buying your home. This is especially beneficial if you are in a hurry and want to move out of your current residence as soon as possible.

Another benefit of selling with cash is that there will be no realtors involved in the transaction. You don’t have to pay them any commission fees because they won’t be involved in any way! You also won’t have to worry about closing costs, which are associated with most mortgages (and some other types of financing).

No mortgage payments, no closing costs and no realtor fees

  • No mortgage payments.
  • No closing costs.
  • No realtor fees.

Selling your house with cash will be beneficial for you in many ways

Selling your house with cash is considered to be the best way to get the most money for it. No waiting for other buyers, no mortgage payments and closing costs, no realtor fees — all of these can add up to tens of thousands of dollars in savings.

In addition to saving you money on the sale of your home, selling it with cash also allows you to avoid some potentially serious problems that may arise when selling through more traditional means. If a buyer takes out a loan from a lender who requires them to pay off their mortgage within 30 days after closing (a common practice), there are some potential pitfalls associated with this scenario.

Conclusion

Selling your home with cash is a great idea and it will benefit you in many ways. There are many people and companies who are looking to buy homes, but they don’t have enough money to pay for them. This means that if you sell your house with cash then you will be able to get more money out of it than if someone else buys it from another buyer who needs financing or other financial assistance from another party such as an investor or bank. “We buy homes in Chicago and selling your house with cash can be a smart investment that leads to strong financial health,” says the experts at Grandview Homes.

Lensa Connect: Job Ads on Demand

Home Business Magazine Online

If you’re running a home business, the chances are that you would gladly welcome an additional stream of revenue, one that didn’t take any of your focus or energy away from your business and would actually help you better serve your existing customers in the process.

If you’ve implemented the tips on how to boost your organic rankings and you’ve taken the time and effort to drive traffic to your website, then you deserve to be rewarded for your efforts. The new Lensa Connect widget can allow you to do just that.

In this short article, we’ll take a look at a new piece of technology in the form of a widget called Lensa Connect and how it can help entrepreneurs of home businesses increase their revenue in a few short minutes.

What Is Lensa?

Launched in San Fransisco back in 2016, Lensa is a data-driven US jobs portal that uses machine learning systems to help job seekers and recruiters build successful, sustaining careers.

With over 20 million members, a typical month at Lensa consists of over 175,000 resumes submitted and over 85 million job alerts delivered. And Lensa continues to grow, gaining, on average, around 400,000 new registered members a month.

Lensa embraces technology and puts it to the service of both job seekers and recruiters alike. Lensa’s real-time AI technology searches millions of job listings to better pair job seekers and recruiters with opportunities that fit their specific needs.

Lensa Connect

Lensa has developed a widget, and an API (Lensa Connect) that enables third-party members to list Lensa job offers on their websites and then track and monetize the activity.

Lensa Connect is made possible through the seamless integration of a code snippet. This code snippet is fully customizable in case the user wishes to modify it according to the color and size of their webpage. Thanks to Lensa Connect, home business owners can use their websites to generate additional income for themselves — additional income they can then reinvest in their business.

Thanks to Lensa Connect, when someone visits your website, your visitor will be given access to tailored job postings. You are then paid for each click. As a home business owner, you can add this Lensa Connect snippet anywhere to your web pages, including posts and categories of a site’s HTML block.

Monetizing Lensa Connect

With Lensa Connect, monetization begins almost immediately. Once the widget code has been applied to your website’s HTML panel, and you’ve created your first campaign, your website is already being monetized on a Cost-per-Click (CPC) basis. This means that the more people click, the more income you receive.

It’s worth pointing out that Lensa tailors their services to the US market only. Therefore, monetization refers to opt-in US traffic. Lensa does not operate outside the US, and traffic from outside the US is not monetized with Lensa Connect.

It is easy to track your earnings, too. It’s all broken down into a convenient and easy-to-read monthly report.

Monetizing Your Website the Smart Way

Building and maintaining a website is not an easy matter, not to mention all the time and energy put into getting noticed, driving traffic, and engaging users. It’s only right that after putting in so much work that your website should become a source of revenue for you and your business.

There are several ways to go about monetizing your website. However, they don’t all yield the same results, and some methods could even have negative effects on your website and brand.

Pay-per-click is widely considered one of the top ways to monetize a website. And there are a variety of ways you can set up a pay-per-click monetization program. Lensa Connect is one way. Some business owners choose to monetize their websites by going through a monetization platform or an ad network. There are a few things to keep in mind when considering going this route.

  • Brand Cohesion

How “on brand” are the ads going to be?

The chances are quite high that at least one of the several ads the agency or platform puts on your website will not correspond to the brand of your website and might even harm your brand by association.

  • Competing with Yourself

If you’re hosting ads on your website, the chances are quite high that at least one of the several ads will be aimed at selling a product or a service. That’s in essence what an ad is. But then these ads would, in a sense, be competing with you for the user’s money, money the user should be spending on your business, on your product or service.

The advantage of using Lensa Connect is that it completely eliminates these two legitimate issues that arise with website monetization. The AI-powered job search platform, Lensa, is completely free to use for job seekers. Lensa Connect is not used to try and sell the visitors of your website anything. Lensa Connect is never in competition with you for your visitors’ money.

Thanks to machine learning algorithms, Lensa Connect also tailors its job postings to the specifics of the visitor. And these job postings represent opportunities for the visitor. It is hard to imagine how that might clash with the branding or image of your website.
